hello we were driving the other day and the started sputtering and died so i jumped it and it got us home i shut it off and tried to restart it it wouldent it turned over twice do u think it could be the fuel filter a bunch of lights r coming on in the car like the abs and brake and battery lights

If you had the jump the car it seems to me that the battery or the alternator have gone out.  I would get the battery fully charged and tested.  If the battery is good the car should start and run long enough to get it down to Autozone or Checker and get a free electrical load inspeciton.  Email me back and let me know how it goes.  If the car does not crank it would not be the fuel filter.  Now, if it cranks and does not start you might be looking at a fuel filter, sparkplugs, cap, rotor and wires.  Check and replace the airfilter too, if dirty.
