Nissan Repair: 2002 Maxima CD Player, factory cd, ebay

I have a 2002 Maxima with the bose dash in 6 cd changer.  I put a burnt disc in the player it now when I put a regular disc in it cd error f3.  What should I do?  Everything else works fine.

You could pull power and see if it resets.  The factory CD player is a Clarion unit and they are known for skipping and for error codes.  The unit will have to be removed and repaired.  The aftermarket discs are known to screw up the calibration on the CD player.  Another option is to replace the unit with an aftermarket one.  Also, check ebay for used units.
