My driver's seat belt light won't go off even after buckling the seat belt?

The seatbelt buckle is the problem.  The contacts are messed up inside.  It happens more than you think.  If you want the bulb off you can run the seat forward and then disconnect the harness that goes into the buckle or purchase another seat belt buckle assembly and replace yours.  My 350Z screwed up right after warranty so I unplugged it.  The seatbelt works it is just the light that won't go out.
