Nissan Repair: steering stuck, nissan altima, key cylinder

Question
Nissan altima, 1997, manual transmission.  Took my car for oil change.  The kid broke my ignition key.  Was able to start the car with broken key.  Drove home.  Now car won't start.  Lock cylinder jammed up.  Steering stuck.  Can't turn the ignition.  Any advice?  Thanks.

Answer
Vijay,

A couple of options here.  First, if you can get they key cylinder to turn while you wiggle the steering wheel back and forth you should be able to get it unstuck.  A locksmith could be called to get the key out for a fee.  Or, you could contrast that against what a used column, with keys, would go for.  Your choice here...
