Nissan Repair: Nissan Qashqai, volt ohm meter, rubber button

My drivers side window keeps breaking down it sometimes works and sometimes it does not it just stops, the dealer said they cant fix it unless they see it broke, because when i take it to them it works. They said they reset the switch in the door can you tell me how to do this

I would say either the brushes in the motor are going out or the master switch is intermittent.  The dealer should be able to tell which it is.  They can hook up a digital volt/ohm meter to the switch and see if current flows.  If the switch checks good then you are looking at the motor.  The reset switch is on the motor and can be accessed by removing the door panel and performing the reset by pressing the rubber button and running the window to full up and full down.  You will have to plug the master switch back in, with the door panel removed to accomplish this.
