Nissan Repair: Wiper pivot, windshield wiper, hi ed

Hi Mr.Iwahita,

I am wondering how hard is it to change the pivot on the passenger side windshield wiper.  I already took off the grill on the top near the windshield.

Hi Ed -

I am not quite understanding what you mean by the pivot. Is this the plastic bushing that is located at the joint of the linkage?

If so, it snaps off. When replacing this bushing you will need to put the male side first (large end) and then press it into the linkage on the other side. You may need to get a plier in there for additional leverage, but be careful not to damage the bushing.
