Nissan Repair: ERG replacement, nissan maxima, haynes manual

Question
I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima and need to replace the EGR, i am trying to locate what the book time is to decide if this is something worth the headache of doing myself as it is located in a place that looks to need the removal of a large part of the intake/ throttle

Answer
Matt, if you have not done one of these before I would take it to a shop.  A Haynes Manual is a good investment to show how it is done.  It is connected, for a large part, to the area taht the intake/throttle body connects to.  Close and confined quarters by the firewall.  Probably a couple of hundred in labor plus the part is what a shop would charge.  If you did it yourself plan on most of the day.  Take pictures so you will know where everything hookd back to.
