Nissan Repair: 2003 Nissan Altima Climate Control lighting, 2003 nissan altima, climate control unit

I have a '03 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE sedan which runs well but in the past year I have noticed that the backlighting on the climate control unit is no longer uniform. I attribute this to failing backlights. Is this correct and if so, how do I remove unit to replace backlights. Thanks!

Hi Pete -

To replace these bulbs, the front panel will have to be removed. I apologize ahead of time as without the car here it is hard to guide you. The process is different with various vehicles. I believe though, that the panel that houses the climate control comes out as a unit, whether it is screwed in or snapped in. Once out, then you can look into the back of the assembly and should be able to find the bulbs.
