Nissan Repair: 2005 Nissan Altima - crankshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, 2005 nissan altima

Car stalled while driving, with service engine light on. Dealer said code was crankshaft position sensor. Wanted $300. to install. Bought sensor from Nissan, installed it myself. Car starts fine, but service engine light comes on upon starting. Did I miss something? Any help?

You can either disconnect the battery for five minutes to clear the code or go to Autozone or Checker to get the code cleared for free.  It is just a matter of the computer remembering the problem is there.  It needs to be cleared and the light should go off...
