Nissan Repair: 94 Altima Not shifting, nissan cars, transmission shop

So my 94 altima does not shift. I turn on the car, the OD light does not work and i have to floor the gas to get any momentum. Sometimes ill be driving and the lights flicker and then it shifts again, but only briefly. I recently filled the trans fluid and oil but think its a computer problem. Any suggestions?

The transmission has most probably discovered there is an internal problem with a shift solenoid or with pump pressure and has locked itself into second gear to protect itself.  You will need to take the car to a transmission shop that has the computer to read the code and diagnose the issue.  I use Cottman, but, if you have a local shop you trust, that has the equipment to work on Nissan cars go with them.  Let me know how it goes.
