Nissan Repair: 1999 nissan quest v6 3.3L 140k miles auotmatic, crankshaft position sensor, intake air temperature sensor

Question
I have a 1999 nissan quest v6 3.3L 140k miles auotmatic. I was driving on the highway and the car started to miss a little and then it died out when I got to the side of the road. I pulled over and checked everything out and everything looked good so I started driving again and I got just a little bit down the road and it died out again. Now this time it wouldnt start. So i got the car towed to my house. The next day I started the car and let it idle and it turned off after 10 minutes. I tried the next day and it also tuned off after idling for 10 minutes.

The only issues I notice with the car is a squeaky belet and I know of the stabilizer belts are bad.

The only things I had to do in the past year is change the alternator.

I do have a check engine light and got the following codes.

P0110 Intake Air Temperature Sensor
P0325
P0340
P0731
P1336

Any ideas whats going on or what to check for?

Answer
Mike,

you have the first code.  The rest are as follows...

P0325 Knock sensor

P0340 crankshaft position sensor

P0731 automatic transmission 1st position

P1336 CKP Sensor (POS) Cog

Replace the knock sensor and the distributor.  The automatic transmission code might go away after the ignition is working properly.  As should the camshaft CKP timing variation error code.  Do a tuneup as in replace the cap, rotor, wires while you are replacing the distributor and knock sensor.  Disconnect the battery for five minutes to clear the codes and see if the transmission error goes away.  Also, you might just do a fluid change on the transmission to see if you can dilute the mix.
