Nissan Repair: 2001 Nissan Sentra Front Bumper, nissan sentra, front bumper

Question
The front bumper on my 2001 Nissan Sentra has slowly started to droop. I realized the left side has become detached. The left bolt/screw is still attached to the car, but the piece (circular part) of the bumper that connects to the car (the piece that would be bolted on) is broken. I was told it was a "clip-on" bumper, and another place on the left side where it connects is deformed. I wanted to know if there was a way to fix that without have to get a new bumper or something drastic like that? Also, if you know a price range I would appreciate it.

Answer
Ariel,

The bumper is just that, a clip-on and is pretty difficult to repair items that break off.  There are many on-line stores that sell replacement bumpers and for yours it is only $100 bucks average plus paint.  If you use an adhesive to reattach the part that is broken it could work or it might fail down the road.  If the paint is good on your bumper I would attempt to glue it.  If the paint is going I would just get another bumper.  Here in Las Vegas we have Bumper Distributors and your bumper is just over $100 bucks.  Your choice...
