Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Sentra Mass Air flow Sensor, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

I need a new MAS for my 2000 Nissan Sentra and the mechanic told me it would be $350 for the part.  There are places on the internet (AM Autoparts etc.) where you can buy this part new for $75-$250.  What do you recommend, do you think it would be a bad idea to buy this part for less on the internet??

The part is easy to install and it is really unbolt the old one and install the new one.  Do disconnect the battery before you install the new one.  Then reconnect the battery after you are done.  Also, make sure you replace the hoses correct and tight.  Other than that it is an easy job.  The Sentra is known to blow MAS units and I cannot understand why te Sentra MAS is more expensive than, let's say, a Maxima...  But, rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com are good sources.  I will check out the AM autoparts you mentioned.  Let me know how things go.
