Nissan Repair: Nissan Blue Bird - E - E U13 - ENGINE SHOOTING BLOCK, nissan blue bird, oil leaks

I did a sudden braking a week ago which resulted in oil leaks.  Consultation of the mechanics around is showing that the pistons shot the block.  Kindly indicate the causes effects and the remedy.  Recommendations from this end are that I replace the engine, can I easily get one?  From where?

i highly recommend taking this car to a Nissan dealership to determine what exactly is the problem.  if in fact its piston/block related, you are better off finding a used engine, they aren't expensive and you should be able to find one in your local scrapyard.  you can try to have it rebuilt but im sure the walls are too damaged to bother, if what stated is true.  good luck, its major, but its not expensive.  while the engine is out have the mechanic re-seal everything and change all your belts so you don't have to worry about anything for many many miles.
