Nissan Repair: 1993 starter, starter car, headlights

car makes no noise at all when trying to start. battery supports lights and all other electrical.

Hi Paul -

Are your headlights strong? Try turning them on and start the engine. If the headlights suddenly go off or dim, then replace the battery.

To check the starter, get a light tester and attach the probe to the small terminal of the starter. Have someone try to start the car. If there is power to the terminal, then replace the starter.
