Nissan Repair: Nissan Stanza Wagon (Multi), nissan stanza wagon, nissan stanza

Question
I managed to bleed my hydraulic clutch, when i noticed it was completely empty and no resistance on my pedal, so i filled and bled it, only to come back later and it was completely empty again.

Any suggestions as to whether it would be the master or slave cylinder, as I can repair either, i just want to know for cost's sake.

Im thinking slave, but i dont want to waste the time/effort if its not the case.

Answer
Hi Trent -

Try checking these 2 areas:

1. Behind the clutch pedal, inside the car where the master cylinder shaft meets the pedal shaft (you can also check the firewall behind the master)

2. Open the slave cylinder rubber boot

If you see fluid in any of these areas, replce the component (master cylinder for #1, or slave cylinder for #2)

Hope this helps -
