Nissan Repair: door jammed by seatbelt, nissan premira, seatbelt

nissan premira 1998 1.6 hatchback,the seatbelt metal is stuck in the drivers door so the door is jammed it cannot open, the central lock works perfectly how do i go about that?

It is not going to be pretty.  But, you need someone to get inside and open the door and push while you have a person on the outside pulling, with the window down.  If this fails, you are going to need a pry bar and damage to the car will result by wedging, from the inside, where the seatbelt is, to aid in prying the door open.  Not pretty at all.  I have had to do this and gentle is the key to forcing the door open and keeping damage to a minimum.
