Nissan Repair: 94 Nissan XE overheating, stalling, radiator cap, fuel pressure

Question
My 94 Nissan XE pickup is overheating when the weather is hot and I run the AC. It never used to do that. Also, a couple of times recently, it has stalled. Normally, I put the car in drive straight after I start it, and go. But it has stalled on me recently shortly after starting the engine and I am slowing down or stopping. I had a tune up 3000 miles ago at 98K. Also had the fuel filter changed at that time and thermostat replaced.

Answer
Lisa,

I would have the cooling system checked and have the thermostat replaced along withe the radiator cap.  Make sure all the hoses are good and there are no leaks.
The stalling is due to the engine not being warm as either the temperature sensor that tells the computer the engine is cold is defective or the fuel pressure is not correct.  Now, the throttle body could be dirty since you did not mention this item being cleaned as part of the tuneup.
