Nissan Repair: remove and replace 1997 nissan pickup dash bulb, nissan pickup, tiny bulb

I have the face plate off of my '97 Nissan pickup and have access to the bulb.  How do you remove and replace this tiny bulb?  Does it twist in, if cw or ccw, or does it snap in?

Appreciate your help.

The bulbs go in from the backside of the cluster.  They unscrew counter clockwise.  But, you have to remove the cluster to get behind the buib.  The way the bulb is installed in the socket they cannot be pulled from the front as the two wires are wound through the socket connector.
