How do you remove the tail light compartment to change bulb?

Hi Andrea -

You did not give me the year, make and model, so I cannot tell you specifics, however, most Nissans are basically the same. Open the trunk, and there should be a panel right behind the tail light assembly that can be taken off by prying, or removing the snaps that hold the cover. Once that is removed, you can access the tail light assembly. Some models, the bulbs are right there, and you need to turn the socket counter clockwise to remove. Other models still have a plastic cover that is either screwed on by 2 philips screws, or there are a couple tabs the need to be pulled out.
