Nissan Repair: My car heater does not work??? please help., heater control valve, engine vacuum

Hi Calvin, Thanks for all the help in the past, you have been great... but i got another question for you.
My heater in my car wont blow out warm/hot air ???
It works sometimes but not for long. Can you please help me?

Hi Michelle -

I suspect that the heater control valve is not functioning. It is usually run by engine vacuum. Follow the heater hose that goes into and exits the firewall. At some point you should see an in line valve attached to the hose with a small hose attached to it.

Replace that and you should be fine and good to go.
