Nissan Repair: VDC Off and SLIP lights, obdii scanner, battery connection

Question
My coworker and I both have 05 Pathfinders and she was having trouble starting hers yesterday.  Evidently there was a bad battery connection with corrosion buildup.  Well, this morning I brought in a battery post cleaner and cleaned both of our battery posts.  Now, in both trucks, the VDC Off and SLIP lights come on and won't go away.  I tried to disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes...that didn't work.
Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Answer
Jay,

If disconnecting the battery will not clear the problem you are going to need to have the codes read.  Problem is that the VDC and Slip are not part of the common OBDII scanner portfolio.  Usually, a brake shop or the dealer will have a scanner to read the code and to reset after the issue is corrected.  I would first check to see if a fuse is blown for these before taking the vehicle in.
