Nissan Repair: E85 in gas tank, nissan quest, gas tank

I have a Nissan Quest 1993, and i have accidently put in E85 gas in my van... the web site for the gas says that alls i have to do is drain my gas tank and put regular gas into the tank and it will be fine.... Is this true? and if so how do i drain the gas tank?

How much of that E85 have you put in your vehicle? If it is substantial, then, yes, you will need to drain it out and refill with proper fuel. It should not hurt the engine.

To drain the tank, there should be a drain plug on the bottom of the tank. Look closely, because it is covered with sprayed on insulation. If there is none, then you can eiither remove the fuel line coming from the tank, turn the ignition on, and let the fuel pump drain the tank, or the old fashioned way of siphoning out the fuel.
