Nissan Repair: Nissan Maxima 95 - Wipers, pamela pamela, nissan maxima

Hello,

We have a 95 Nissan Maxima that has problems with the wiper assembly. The wipers sometimes stop working at times of high rain, when the wipers are on med or high speed. There is no pattern.

We have had the wiper control switch assembly replaced. We have had the wipers replaced. All of it done at the Nissan dealer. They cannot repeat the problem, and so cannot repair correctly. Manually switching the wiper control helped once when I first noticed the problem, but that was a panic raction that I do not want to repeat.

Any suggestions?

You had the most probable thing replaced.  So, if the control switch assembly replaced then there is the delay relay box or the wiper motor itself that is the problem.  The delay relay box is under the dash, driver's side agains the firewall and the wiper motor is easy to locate under the hood.
