Nissan Repair: Power steering fluid leak, power steering fluid leak, power steering fluid

Have a 97 Nissan pickup with a power steering leak. Cant seeem to find where its coming from. What should I check?

Hi Bob -

It is very helpful to know what area the leak is coming from. Look where the car is parked and see if you can locate where the drips are.

Although there are many areas where it could leak, most of the time it comes from either the high pressure side steering hose, or the rack.

If the leak is off to the side of the car, then most likely it is the steering hose. If more to the center, then you can suspect the rack.
