Nissan Repair: 96 nissan truck 2400, faulty circuit, nissan truck

HI,I HAVE A 96 TRUK WITH A 2400 ENGINE. I STARTED GETTING A HESSATATION AND THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. THE SCAN SAID FAULTY CIRCUIT AIR INTAKE TEMP SENS. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.I CHANGED THE SENSORE. AND IT STILL DID IT.SAME CODE. I CHECKED THE CONNECTIONS, AND THEY WERE GOOD. IT DOES SEEM LIKE IT DOES MOSTLY WHEN THE MOTOR GETS HOT. AND IT CAN GET PRETTY BAD ALMOST NOT EVAN ABLE TO MOVE. THEN IT WILL RUN FINE.AND THEN DO IT AGAIN.IT ALMOST SEEMS LIKE ITS IGNITION CUTTIN IN AND OUT.NOT SURE IF ITS FUEL OR IGNITION. AND NOT SURE IF THAT SENS. HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I would almost bet the distributor is contaminated with oil on the optical pickup and shutter wheel.  Remove and disassemble the distributor and check for the presense of oil on the optical pickup and shutter wheel.  If so, replace with a rebuilt unit and you shoud be fine...
