Nissan Repair: 1991 Maxima v6, low beam, headlight switch

Question
I do not have any high beam, or driving lights, but my low beam are still working, and we have checked for current and my bulbs are fine, as well as I have a slight sputter when first pressing the throttle, but it goes away as soon as the engine speed picks up although if I touch it slightly such as ideling around a parking lot it will constantly sputter at that rev position.

Answer
Kevin,

The headlight switch is defective and needs to be replaced.  Part costs under $100 bucks and only takes a phillip screwdriver to replace.  Remove the column cover and the switch and replace it with the new one.  Be sure to disconnect the battery before you replace the switch.
