Nissan Repair: Climate control, blower motor resistor, climate control system

Question
Mr Von Sudderth:

I want to thank you for your services, you are a master at your craft.  So my 2000 Nissan Quest climate control system will only blow air on the high setting, any thoughts? Is access a problem to what ever ales my fine vehicle?

Thanks for any advice

Answer
Scott the blower motor resistor needs to be replaced.  It is located on the passenger side under the dash.  Buy the new one and you will see what you are looking to replace.  Just two screws and it unplugs.  Do not tough the windings on the resistor if the car has been on as they get hot.
