Nissan Repair: abs light in 98 infiniti i30, cv axle, hub assembly

i got my hub assembly changed about 2 weeks ago and the abs light came on and is still on. i need to take it off for emissions. is there anyway i can just reset it. i tried takin off the battery it didnt work

Hi Vick -

I would take it back to where you had the hub replaced and have them check it. Apparently the sensor wire did not get put back and is triggering the ABS light.

Either that, or the wrong hub was put in. Was the CV axle replaced too? If you put a non ABS part in an ABS equipped vehicle, the light will illuminate.
