Just replaced my powerbrake booster and it seems my brakes are dragging.  They seem to be on when I'm coasting in nuetral and there is heavy brake smell.  I wasn't aware of any kind of adjustments on the booster so maybe this is a stupid question but I would appreciate any kind of insight. Thanks.

Hi Shawn -

I would check the shaft that engages the diaphragm in the booster. Sometimes there is an adjustment there. Ensure that the right booster was installed. Looks like either the shaft is too long, or there needs to be a washer or shim between the booster and the firewall.

I have a feeling, though that this is the shaft. Remove the brake shaft from the pedal and then, if it is adjustable, can be turned (clockwise, I think).
