Nissan Repair: Nissan Maxima GXE 96 brake rotor replacement, brake rotor replacement, nissan maxima

Question
What tools would I need & how I uninstall brake rotors on my Nissan Maxima GXE '96. I didn't see there any screws holding rotors in place in front, are they on the back of the discs? Thank you!

Answer
Irakli,

The front rotors require the removal of the caliper and the torque member, the thing that the caliper bolts to, to get the rotor off.  You will probably need a couple of screws since the rotor is probably rusted onto the spindle bearing hub.  You will notice two small threaded holes between the lug studs.  Run a couple of bolts into these with a little WD-40 to lubraicate and the rotor should come off.
