Nissan Repair: Air Bag Light, nissan serena, autobody shop

Hi. I have a 1998 Nissan Serena. 2.3 d. The other week the air bag light on the dash never went out when the engine was started. It continually flashes now. After that the horn stopped working. Is this just a coincident or are they linked. Is there any way of resetting it? Cheers

Air bags are a liability concern and as such you have to take it to the dealer or an autobody shop that has the scanner to read and let you know what the code is for.  You will need to get it corrected since the system will not function with the light on and flashing.  It costs about $100 bucks to get the code read.
