Nissan Repair: nissan maxima alarm, nissan maxima, fuel supply

My son set off my alarm system and now my car won't start, please help.  I have got yo go to work in the morning.  It is a 96 Nissan maxima. Thanks

Is this a factory alarm system?

Check the manual, as perhaps the fuel cutoff has been activated. This is a feature that you might have to prevent theft. They can get in, but once the alarm sounds, it will go into this mode and shut off fuel supply so the car cannot be driven away. If it is set that way, then it can be reset.

Need to know whether it is a factory system or not. But I would say call the dealer if it is a factory system, or the installer if not, and they will walk you through the reset process.
