Nissan Repair: nissan navara str 2002, nissan navara str, fuel pressure regulator

I have a 3litre turbo diesel navara and it has recently begun idling fast at traffic lights at 1200 to 1500 rpm. and now it has started to just cut out all together when u are driving along,wen u pull over and wait a few minutes it will start up again. Some one had the same problem and asked you in '07 but i dont know if they sorted the problem.

I thought it was the fuel pressure regulator on that one.  On yours, you need to check the throttle for proper operation and if all is well you need to check to see what the fuel pressure is.  If the regulator plugs up or the injectors stick it will cause your problem.
