Nissan Repair: 95 nissan quest alternator elect. connection, nissan quest, plastic covering

I only have one thing left to do to complete the repair on my alternator and that is to screw in that last connection wire. It's not the one with the plastic covering and not the main snap in connection. The screw with the washer fits into 2 different holes, which one is correct? The threaded hole directly to the right (looking from the back out toward the tire)of the snap in connection - or the threaded hole on the bottom of the alternator? It's a Durabrand part.

I beleive the wire you describe is the ground to the alternator.  You already have the positive wire, the one with the rubber cover, and the fields, the plug in, connected and there is only one wire left.  That one should be the ground.
