Nissan Repair: 95 Pathfinder, dash lights, master switch

Question
What has caused the dash lights, tail lights, license plate lights and marker lights to fail?  The dash lights failed first but came back several times and now nothing works.  Thanks.

If the parking lights do not work and the tag and instrument lights do not work either I would say the master switch on the column has failed.  That is the switch that turns on the headlights.  It is a simple replacement as you just need a screwdriver and the steering wheel does not have to come off.
