Nissan Repair: 91 Stanza, alternator, stanza

Question
When I start my car,my battery and brake lights comes on and stays on for a while and then goes off, sometime they come on when I am driving.  Please help.  Thanking you in Advance.

Hi Virginia -

This is typically the alternator. These lights come on because it is not charging enough. Replace it, and you should be fine. Also, if you have not repaced the battery within the last 2 years, now is a good time. That way, no worries.
