Nissan Repair: engine quits when it gets hot. with codes, nissan altima, knock sensor

*97 nissan altima std trans. car quits while driving down road. after quit, has crank angle sensor code. replaced the sensor, and it quit again, then had cts code and knock sensor code. replaced cts, still quits. this happens after it gets hot, and the hotter the day is the quicker it will quit. any help appreciated...

I would check to see if the temperature is normal on the engine.  If the engine runs hot it will kill the sensors.  Next, I would check the fuel pressure to make sure that the fuel pump is not overheating or the relay to the fuel pump is not going out...  If the knock sensor has not been replaced do so and reset the codes and see how it runs.  On, be sure to purchase a Nissan thermostat as they are superior to those at the parts store.
