Nissan Repair: 90 300zx a/c climate control override?, vacuum hose, climate control

Question
my a/c has been fully recharged, the pipes are cold when its running, no leaks at all. however when i turn my a/c on it still blows hot air from outside. why won't that cold air come in? is there a manual override pattern i can use on my climate control panel to make it blow the cold in?

Answer
HI John -

Looks like one of the duct doors are not opening. I believe the 1990 model is run by vacuum, so look for a vacuum hose disconnected or damaged. The other one is the dor may be stuck in the closed position. Below the dash board, find the ducting, and there should be a door there with a vacuum hose attached. Work it free manually and it should be alreight.

Hope thgis helps -
