Nissan Repair: 94 Pathfinder not starting, neutral safety switch, dash clock

Hello,

My 94 Pathfinder won't start.  When I try to start it nothing happens(the starter doesn't even click).  When I turn the key to crank,the dash clock dims but the headlights don't dim at all.  The starter gets electricity from the + battery cable but the solenoid doesn't get any when the key is turned.  I've tried moving the shifter (automatic) to see if the neutral safety switch was off but no luck.  The parts store lists two different starter relays for this truck but no one seems to know where they are located.  All other lights and accessories  work fine.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The starter relay is located under the hood and if you check out your local dealer parts store they will sell you the right one.  Check the starter with a short length of wire to bridge it to see if it is actually working.  Yes, you might get voltage but you need to see if the starter will turn.  With ceramic fields in the case it is not like old starters that, when worn would dim the lights when you try to start it.
