Nissan Repair: check engine light on, fuse box, nissan pickup

I have a 1997 nissan pickup with a 2.4 with a check engine light.I got autoparts place to run the code and it came up as the egr.I just had the egr replaced.I think it maybe a btv valve becase i pulled the vacumm line before the valve and the higher the rpms,the more vacumm but after the btv valve it had very little vacumm.please help

Hi Bryan -

Please reset the light and see if it returns. Sometimes it is a nuisance signal. Remove the ECM fuse in your fuse box, alternately you may remove the battery for a few minutes and reconnect.

Let me know if the light returns after that.
