Nissan Repair: 1993 Nissan Quest Loses Power, nissan quest, loud noise

Hi.  I have a 1993 Nissan Quest that has been doing very well except that recently, I have noticed more often that it seems to lose power, many times when I start up the van acts like it doesn't want to go and I have to push hard on the accelerator. This happens during driving as well. Also, it has started cutting off right after starting, and I have to re-crank it a few times to get it started. Does not happen all the time. Also, after this happened the other day, made a loud vibrating noise coming from the front, (this happened a few times last year when the weather turned hot here (North Carolina)) as I was driving. Not sure if the losing power and the loud noise are connected.What do you think this could be?  Thanks!

hi there, first thing that comes to mind is your ignition.  how long has it been since you've had a tune-up?  i highly suggest replacing  your plugs and wires first and go from there.  Its amazing how important good plugs and wires to make your engine run effienct.   Try replacing those and if that doesnt work, feel free to follow up.  thanks and good luck.
