QuestionHi Calvin! we have not for so long a second hand Nissan Quest van 2001, it runs perfectly and it seems to be in very good conditions, the motor seems to be very clean...
It has 89.600 miles already. But a day ago the engine service soon light went on, is it beacuse is gonna reach the 90 thousand miles or it is some real problem? if it so, should the van get bad?

This engine light will come on at certain mileage intervals, however, there could be many reasons for it. It definitley does NOT mean that the car needs immediate attention, but there could be a sensor (one of hundreds) causing that light to illuminate.
The light is reset by a device, or sometimes you can get lucky and find the answer on line.
Normally it does not mean anything, and I have seen people drive for years with that light on. You know, if the car is running well, don't fix it, type of deal.
However, if you want to delve into it, take it to the nearest dealer and have it scanned, and then you should have all the info.
