Nissan Repair: 2004 Nissan Frontier Warranty question, 2007 nissan frontier, nissan frontier

Dear Calvin,  I hope this is the correct place to ask this question.  I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier that was just recently purchased as used but it's still under manufacturers warranty (10K miles).  I noticed the bed of the truck is installed crooked.  The left side is higher than the right and when you view the truck bed from the back end, you can see the bed sticks out further on the right side.  Do you know if this fix would be covered under warranty?  Thank you very much!

Hi Susan -

You would really have to read the warranty carefully. Even if you are not exceeding the 10K miles, there might be a time clause in there, i.e 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

Also, reading the warranty, see if you can determine if the truck bed is included in coverage. I am sorry that I cannot give you more information, as only dealerships would be able to give you an accurate answer, and warranties vary.

This may be a tough one, as you will have to prove that this was an existing condition and not a result of abuse, or an accident.
