Nissan Repair: 1999 Infinity I30 immobilizer, infinity i30, body control module

The other day i went to the store, when i came out my car started and turned off immediately after that it would just crank and not turn...i checked all the basics, even installed a new fuel pump, but nothing works...i noticed the security LED is on at all times when trying to start...i read in different places on the the net that the key needs to be re-programmed.  i recently bought a new remote fob and programmed it myself, could this have caused the immobilizer to activate and can i re-program the key myself???...thanks in advanced.

If the car will crank but not start it would lead me to think the body control module is going out.  Reprogramming the keyfob would not cause your problem.  Also, if you try both keys that would show if it is just your key needing to be reprogrammed or the body control module has failed.
