Nissan Repair: a/c o rings, o rings, o ring

I had someone check the compressor and he feels the o rings just need replaced. How hard? Can I do it myself? Where are they?

If you have a leak and it is o ring related will mean that the system will have to be released.  Then, evacuated and recharged.  If the leak is slow and you can get by for the year is much cheaper to leave the car alone.  If not, have a airconditioner shop do the job since they will have to evacuate and recharge.
