Nissan Repair: 1994 Sentra Interior electrical, brake light switch, factory radio

Question
I am having multiple problems with my '94 Sentra's interior electrical. The clock, radio, interior light do not work. Also, the automatic seatbelts only work when the car is running. This all happened after i jumped the car after replacing the alternator. The fuses are all good, and I have done minore troubleshooting to the relays. Also, just recently the brake lights will not go off, no matter if the car is running or not. i have to remove the fuse in order to turn them off. Any help at all?

Answer
William,

If the car does not have a factory radio the aftermarket unit might be wired wrong.  If not it is most probably the dimmer for the instrument lights.

The brake light is most probably the brake light switch on the brake pedal that is stuck on.  Replace the switch and you should be good on the brake lights.
