Nissan Repair: 1997 nissan pathfinder misfire, nissan pathfinder, fuel filter

Question
I have a 1997 pathfinder that is misfiring when it warms up if I let it cool all the way down it will start and run like a champ for about 10 min. then it starts to misfire again I have changed the fuel filter, fuel pump, cap, rotor button, plugs, and wires all this money spent and still the same problem if you could give me some helpful insight I would greatly appreciate it

Answer
Hi Shannon -

Try replacing the ignition module, located in the distributor. It is usually held down by a couple screws and connected to 4 wires. Sometimes when the car heats up, the heat sync is gone and the device fails.

Hope this helps
