When it is hot my transmission is sticking in 2nd gear. It runs fine once it cools down.

If it were me I would change the fluid and install a Hayden 404 transmission cooler in series with the cooler that runs through the radiator.  The transmission cooler should be installed in the line where the transmission fluid comes out of the radiator so it will cool the fluid further.  About $100 bucks for a cooler and worth every cent...  I have one on my personal car.
