QUESTION: How do I acsess the linkage for the wipers on a 98b pathfinder?

ANSWER: Hi Bob -

If you open your hood, towards the winshield, you should see the linkage under the plastic cowl. Remove the cowl and you should be able to access everything.

QUESTION: I have to take the wiper arms off before the cowling comes off?  Is there a trick to getting them off?
I have removed the nut but cannot get the arms off,

Hi Bob -

Lift the wipers up as far as it will go from the hinge where you took the nut off. Rock it back and forth, and it should free up. Sometimes you have to help it a little by pressing on the metal tab that sticks out at the base of the wiper arm when you lift it up.
